The homemade curries were top-notch, a real treat for any foodie! Plus, the warm and cozy vibe in the bar area is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.
But there were some quirky downsides—like a dirty shower and a toilet seat that just wouldn't quit slipping off. A bit of a refresh is definitely needed.

Combination of Indian and traditional cuisine, centrally located for exploring, dog-friendly environment
Room cleanliness is a real concern, with dusty corners and an unwelcoming bathroom!!! A shower that delivers only lukewarm water could use some serious upgrades!!! Parking registration process feels outdated and cumbersome!!! The TV signal is utterly unreliable!!!

Cozy village retreat
We had a lovely 3-night stay in a charming double room. The place was all warm and comfy with clean linens and pretty beams. The hosts were super friendly, really made us feel welcomed! One downside is the room could use a little refresh. Enjoyed the bar area for casual drinks, too!

The location was super convenient, easy to reach attractions like Blenheim Palace. Our double room had comfy beds, heating, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a shower. It was just an excellent fit for a weekend stopover in Oxford with good price-value balance. The cooked breakfast was awash in oil, but at least the eggs on toast were good. Make sure to double-check the plumbing because the taps can be tricky.

The twin room was a good size and the bed was comfy, contributing to a restful night's sleep. the dining experience fell short. the evening meal was burnt and the cooked breakfast was subpar, soaked in oil. I encountered ants on multiple tables, even during breakfast, which was quite off-putting. the accommodations were adequate, but the food and cleanliness left much to be desired.
